The Alameda County Public Health Nursing Division promotes health equity and social justice by striving to improve the health status of Alameda County residents across the lifespan.

Mission Statement

The Alameda County Public Health Nursing Division provides public health nursing care through community outreach, home visits, care coordination, and advocacy to address individual and community health needs, promote healthy living, eliminate health disparities, improve health outcomes, and ensure optimal quality of life for all Alameda County residents.

Staffed by a multidisciplinary team consisting of occupational health consultants, public health nurses, a Medical Social Worker, and Family Support Care Coordinators to provide support to county residents, community providers, and public health department employees.
