Circle of Care

  • Community Based grief, loss and bereavement supports groups
  • Intake/Assessment for age-appropriate groups
  • Mandatory days Tuesday 8-5/Thursday 12-9
  • Locations: Oakland, Hayward

Family Resource Centers

  • Intake and Assessment
  • Family Navigation for federal and state funded programming
  • Case management
  • Food Bank resources
  • Location: Oakland, Hayward, San Leandro and Fremont 8-5

Frick Health and Wellness Center

  • Intake and Assessment
  • Facilitate peer Support groups
  • Data Tracking
  • Evaluation
  • Location: Oakland 8-5

After School Program

  • K-5 Social Emotional Support
  • Classroom support for children with learning difficulties
  • Social emotional groups for students
  • Parent engagement and brokerage to referrals
  • Location: Oakland 12:30-6

Placement Period: August to May annually

Program/Placement Hours: Dependent on the program, please refer to program description for times and locations

Preferred Discipline / Experience: Social Workers only (BSW/MSW)

First or Second Year Students: Both

Supervision & Support: Extensive training, individual and group supervision
