Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT)

Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) is a Full-Service Partnership (FSP) level of service for individuals who have a documented severe mental illness, who are not actively engaged in care, are in a deteriorating or worsening condition, and have a history of failing to comply with needed mental health treatment. The goal of AOT is to prevent people from deteriorating to the point where they need to be involuntarily committed to a hospital. We provide services to those who are resistant or reluctant to engage in needed voluntary mental health treatment.
