Immunization Program

Excellent Vaccination Rates for Alameda County Child Care Facilities!

Each year in California, child care facilities report their students’ vaccination rates for required vaccines to the state. The most recent annual child care report from the California Department of Public Health shows that 95.8% of California child care facilities reported they have received all required vaccines.

The Alameda County Health Immunization program is committed to providing access to vaccination against all vaccine-preventable diseases so our residents can live healthy and prosperous lives. We are committed to working closely with our community members, schools, childcare programs, healthcare providers, and community-based organizations to enhance vaccination education and access to immunization.

Many medical facilities in Alameda County keep records of vaccinations given to their clients in this secure online database. Schools and childcare providers that would like read-only access to this database should contact us.

Tdap Project

Women getting immunized between 27 to 36 weeks gestation of every pregnancy is the best way to protect vulnerable newborns from dangerous pertussis (whooping cough) disease.
